2024/2025 Club Redevelopment Project

The Bribie RSL is thrilled to announce that our eagerly awaited renovations are already underway! The renovations will enhance the Sports Bar, Reception, Bottleshop, Gaming Room, and External Façade, bringing new and exciting upgrades for our members and visitors to enjoy.

 

These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best facilities and experiences for our valued Members. We anticipate that builders, Rubicon Design and Construct, will be onsite from the first week in August setting up site offices and beginning initial outdoor works. Stage 1 (Sports Bar, Reception, Bottleshop & Exterior Façade) will be open in July 2025, closely followed by Stage 2 (gaming room & memorabilia) in October 2025. As with our previous projects, we have planned carefully to ensure minimal disruption to your Club experience. We will continue to operate as close to normal as possible across all departments and are committed to ensuring our service and standards meet your expectations. Regular renovation e-newsletters will be sent to keep our Members up-to-date with progress, along with information on our website and social media pages.

Construction Update

 

NEW TEMPORARY ENTRY TUNNEL:

  • A new tunnel entry has now opened between Social and Reception/Botanic Dining.
  • This tunnel provides access while works continue in the surrounding area.

 

RENOVATION DISPLAY NOW OPEN:

  • Inside the tunnel, you’ll find a display featuring our Renovation Plans, concept images, and fun facts!
  • Take a moment to check it out and get a sneak peek of what’s coming to your Club.

 

A GLIMPSE OF WHAT’S TO COME:

As you walk through the new tunnel entry, you’ll find a visual display showcasing what’s ahead in our redevelopment project. Here are just a few key highlights:

  • Gaming Room: Redesigned with fewer machines and more open space, the new layout aims to enhance comfort and flow. Acoustic features, premium privacy screens, and high-quality finishes will create an inviting and elevated experience for all guests.
  • Foyer & Entry: The future foyer will feature a grand ceiling, statement lighting, and a refined memorabilia display — designed to be an immersive, dedicated space for quiet reflection and remembrance.
  • Sports & Entertainment Lounge: This area will include an expansive 6×2.5m LED screen, booth seating, a modern indoor-outdoor bar concept, and a specialised TAB zone with directional sound to enhance your experience.
