Gecko’s Kids Club
The family that plays together, stays together so bring the kids along and join them up to our Gecko’s Kids Club.
We are open everyday from 9am and offer a fresh brunch menu in the Barcode Cafe to be enjoyed while the kids play in the indoor and outdoor areas.
Membership is free for children aged between 4 to 12 years old. We offer lots of great benefits when your child joins, including:
- Their very own membership card A birthday letter with dinner and drink vouchers
- Your child’s name printed in the Beacon newsletter to celebrate their birthday
- Various competitions run throughout the year
- Full use of the Gecko’s kids room
- Invitation to the end of year Christmas party with Santa, food, drinks and tons of fun
The club will advertise all children’s events and competitions in the Beacon, local papers and by email.

Q: Why do I have to sign in at your Club when I don’t have to at the local hotel?
A: Queensland Liquor Licensing regulations stipulate that any visitor to the Club must sign in upon entry. If you are a member of another Club with reciprocal rights, just show your card to our awesome team when you visit us.
Q: Do I have to be a member of an ex-service organisation to become a member?
A: No. Members of the community are welcome to join as Club Members for only $10 a year, which allows them to access the benefits of regular Club membership.
Q: I am new on the Island, do I need to become a member straight away?
A: We certainly recommend you join the Bribie RSL Club so that you can begin to enjoy the generous membership benefits and fabulous facilities as soon as possible.
Q: Do I need to be a Bribie RSL Club member to purchase goods from “Diggers” bottleshop?
A: No. You can be a current Bribie RSL member, member of a reciprocal Club or a visitor.
Q: Do you have a dress code?
A: Yes. The Club has a dress code at all times
Q: Are children welcome to the Club?
A: Yes, we love welcoming children to the Club. We have two indoor play areas and a covered outdoor area. Children must of course be supervised by a parent/guardian. Children are asked to vacate the Club by 9pm daily.
